"I just had an appointment to address issues after giving birth to my 3rd baby and couldn't believe the amount of time and care Alex put into my visit. She was the first provider to LISTEN to my specific complaints and identify multiple reasons and areas of my body for what I was experiencing and exercises on how to get things better in time. She used pictures and educational models to explain things to me in a way that made it digestible and easy to understand. Alex is as brilliant and compassionate provider, as is the rest of her team. I cannot recommend Boston Pelvic PT highly enough!" - ES
"Hi Alex! You changed my life. I thought I might never be able to have sex again, but your work made it comfortable and fun again. I can't thank you enough! You gave me my life back.
My experience with your work turning my life around inspired me to begin writing a book about aging and menopause, I also have a podcast and social media: The Thing About Aging. My mission is to change how our culture views aging and help with the challenges of aging.
Your future patients are as blessed as I have been for having been the beneficiary of your work.
With infinite gratitude, Sharon Saltzgiver

"I cannot recommend Alex highly enough! As a new mom, I had a lot going on and Alex made recovery MUCH EASIER. It was a relief to practice exercises with Alex for my diastsis recti to ensure I was doing them correctly. I had looked into an online pelvic floor program but quickly realized THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR SEEING A PELVIC FLOOR SPECIALIST IN PERSON. I wasn’t even close to engaging my deep core correctly! Having been into fitness pre-pregnant and during pregnancy I thought I knew what I was doing- wrong! I already feel much stronger after a few weeks with Alex and I am know I am doing the work correctly. I cannot wait to go back and track my progress. " -MW
" You're in great hands! As a physical therapist myself, who specializes in the exercise and return to run piece of pregnancy and postpartum, I was very selective about who I sought out for myself after having my first baby.
I saw Kathryn and could not speak more highly of her and the whole practice. I saw them mostly preventatively as I wanted to get clearance from a pelvic floor specialist before I returned to run. Kathryn's exam gave me the confidence in returning to impact exercise and some highly specific things I could incorporate to stay healthy that I wouldn't have known on my own.
I refer all my patients, friends and family their way! "
"I had been living with constant tailbone pain which was affecting my life and ability to complete daily activities. I had seen doctors and had all kinds of tests with no results. Alex was the only one who was able to diagnose the underlying cause of my pain as pudendal neuralgia and thus address it in a proper and effective way.
I was very anxious about starting pelvic floor therapy, but from our initial conversation on the telephone, I felt at ease. Alex is gentle, kind and compassionate. Her calming presence together with the pristine and serene environment she provided helped me to relax during our sessions. She took the time to listen to me and carefully consider my symptoms.
She is knowledgeable and professional. The exercises she guided me through and the resources she provided were instrumental in helping me to clearly understand my condition and work to successfully alleviate my pain.
After our work together, I am pain free and I have the knowledge and tools I need to maintain this. I am forever grateful to Alex and feel so lucky to have found her!
I highly recommend Alex!"

"I am a male, and it can feel a bit embarrassing to have a pelvic condition and be treated for it. My urologist had pretty much ignored any of my complaints. But Alex and Rachel treated me really well and I have improved a lot because of them. I had some funny conversations with them and had a great experience there. I would highly recommend BPPT!" - ET
"I was pregnant with my second and suffering from pretty debilitating SPD pain. I wasn't even in my third trimester and already walking was becoming almost unbearable. Normally, I would try to power through these things, but I knew with a toddler at home, getting to the point of being nearly immobile wasn't an option. Nervous to try PT, I met Dr. Christine and immediately felt so at ease. After the first appointment, she gave me so many tips and pointers, that I felt like I was already making progress after 10 min. Without sounding melodramatic, I really can't thank her enough for giving me my life back. I look forward to resuming appointments now that I'm postpartum too!" - ECK
"My experience was great. She was so easy to talk to and work with and create a plan. She also held my son for awhile and I was so appreciative of her flexibility and the office's ability to accomodate babies coming and understanding."
"Everything that I hoped for happened! Labor was challenging, but all the breathing work we focused on was so supportive. I delivered the boys vaginally! I did tear, but only a first degree, which I attribute to all the work we did! And I was able to deliver both boys within 10 minutes. Now, postpartum, I feel like my pelvic floor is already recovering so much faster than it has previously. I have already regained more control than I have ever had at this time in previous pregnancies. Thank you so much for all of your emotional and physical support leading up to this delivery. I know for a fact that I could not have done it without your help! You guys rock!" - Margaret Haylon
"I truly think the PT helped me so much! I overheard the delivery doctor saying, 'I have a good perineum,' lol. The staff was so impressed with how I only had to push for 30 min and got only a tiny tear that she said she could either stitch up or just leave it alone (1st degree, yay)!" - Annie Gershinsky
